Who am I?
Hi! My name is Tah’Kiyah Coleman, and I’m currently pursuing a degree in Elementary Education while working full-time and interning in a local elementary school (Waugh Chapel elementary). Balancing these responsibilities has deepened my passion for teaching and strengthened my commitment to becoming an educator who meets the diverse needs of all learners.
As someone who values inclusivity and equity in the classroom, I am especially interested in supporting English Language Learners and fostering a learning environment where every student feels seen, heard, and capable of success. I enjoy incorporating strategies that make content accessible and engaging for students from all backgrounds.
In addition to my academic and professional pursuits, I’m a lifelong learner who enjoys exploring educational research, integrating the arts into lessons, and connecting with students through creative and meaningful instruction.
My goal is to become a compassionate, culturally responsive teacher who inspires a love for learning and helps students grow both academically and personally.
