Leadership Award
As part of my ongoing learning process, this artifact demonstrates how my perspectives and competencies have evolved in relation to leadership and self-confidence. During high school, I took a leadership course at the College of Charleston that challenged me to step outside of my comfort zone. Although I tend to have a naturally passive temperament, this experience helped me recognize my potential to lead. Receiving the Leadership Award was a meaningful affirmation that leadership isn’t about being the loudest voice in the room—it’s about influence, responsibility, and growth. This moment was pivotal in shaping how I see myself and my capacity to lead in both academic and professional settings.
